The Delta State Police Command has rescued a woman who was abducted in Sapele Local Government Area of the state.
The woman was reportedly kidnapped by gunmen, prompting security operatives to launch an operation aimed at locating and rescuing her.
Police operatives subsequently tracked the suspects to an area in Sapele, where the victim was found and safely rescued.
The command said efforts were ongoing to identify and apprehend those responsible for the abduction.
The police also reaffirmed their commitment to protecting residents and tackling kidnapping and other criminal activities across Delta State.
Residents were urged to remain vigilant and provide security agencies with timely information that could assist in preventing crime and apprehending suspects.
