Mangochi is set to host the first edition of Malawi Fashion Night, an event designed to give fashion designers and models a platform to showcase their creativity and connect with a wider audience.
The fashion event is scheduled to take place on October 3 and is being organised by Lakefront Properties. According to the organisers, the initiative is also aimed at highlighting Mangochi’s potential as a destination for major events.
Lilian Azizi, proprietor of Lakefront Properties and executive producer of Malawi Fashion Night, said the idea was inspired by the limited opportunities available for local designers to display their work and gain recognition.
