Super Eagles striker Taiwo Awoniyi has added another academic achievement to his football career after graduating from the PFA Business School with a Postgraduate Diploma in Global Football Sport Directorship.
The Nigerian footballer graduated with Merit from the programme, which is designed to equip football professionals with knowledge in areas such as sports management, leadership and administration.
Awoniyi shared his graduation news on social media, describing it as another proud moment away from the football pitch. He also highlighted the importance of continuing his education while pursuing a professional football career.
The qualification becomes his third academic achievement. He previously obtained a Diploma in Business and Marketing from the London School of International Business and later earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Buckinghamshire New University.
The footballer completed the latest programme while continuing to compete professionally. The PFA Business School’s courses are structured to accommodate the schedules of current and former footballers while preparing them for opportunities in football management and leadership.
Awoniyi currently plays for Coventry City and continues to represent Nigeria at international level. His latest academic milestone adds another dimension to his career as he combines professional football with continued learning.
For the Super Eagles star, the achievement reflects his interest in developing himself beyond his playing career while remaining active on the football pitch.
