Plateau United head coach Gbenga Ogunbote has attributed his side’s draw against Doma United to a lack of concentration at crucial moments.
The Jos-based club were held to a draw by Doma United in a Nigeria Premier Football League fixture, with Ogunbote expressing disappointment over the way his players handled key phases of the encounter.
The coach said Plateau United had opportunities to take control of the match but failed to make the most of them.
According to Ogunbote, his players’ lapses in concentration allowed Doma United to remain in the contest and ultimately secure a share of the points.
He described the result as frustrating, particularly given the chances Plateau United had to produce a better outcome.
Ogunbote stressed the need for his players to improve their decision-making and concentration as the season progresses.
The manager said the team must learn from the dropped points and correct the mistakes that contributed to the result.
Plateau United will now turn their attention to their next NPFL fixture as they look to return to winning ways and strengthen their position in the league standings.
