A woman identified as Achungo Nyar Easy has been left heartbroken after losing her newborn baby shortly after giving birth.
In a heartbreaking Facebook post, Achungo revealed that she welcomed her baby, Jibriell Kamau, at 11:46 a.m. on September 23, after waiting 15 years to experience motherhood.
She expressed her grief while saying she would not question God over the loss.
Today I won’t question God. I will just cry and say, it is well.
Achungo also asked her late sister, Prim, to watch over her baby, describing the child as a miracle who came after years of waiting and renewed her faith.
She wrote that although she did not understand why her baby left so soon after arriving, she believed God had the answers.
I don’t know why you left as soon as you came, but God has the answers, my prince. I will love you today and forever, my love.
The devastating loss has drawn sympathy and condolences from those who have seen her story, as she mourns a child she described as her long-awaited miracle.
