Veteran Nigerian comedian and actor Julius Agwu has opened up about a personal consequence he says followed the brain surgery he underwent in the United States in 2015.
Agwu made the revelation during an episode of the Beer Parlour Talk Show, where he discussed the impact of the procedure on his body and personal life.
During the conversation, the host asked whether the condition or surgery had affected other parts of his body, including his sexual function.
Responding, Agwu said he experienced erectile dysfunction following the procedure, attributing the problem to nerve damage sustained during the surgery.
He explained that doctors had cut a nerve during the operation and suggested that the damage affected his ability to function sexually.
Agwu underwent the surgery in 2015 after doctors discovered three tumours in his brain, one of which was reportedly about the size of a golf ball.
The comedian has previously spoken about the serious health challenges he faced at the time, including the impact of the condition on his career and personal life.
His latest disclosure offered a glimpse into another consequence of the medical ordeal that he had not widely discussed publicly.
Agwu has continued to work in the Nigerian entertainment industry since recovering from the surgery, while occasionally sharing details of his experience to raise awareness about his health journey.
