Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has celebrated Prince Tajudeen Oluyole Olusi, Chairman of the Lagos State Governor’s Advisory Council (GAC), as he marks his 90th birthday.
In her congratulatory message, the First Lady praised the veteran politician for his decades of service, describing him as an elder statesman whose life has been defined by wisdom, humility and commitment to public service.
She joined members of the All Progressives Congress (APC), particularly in Lagos State, in honouring Olusi for his contributions to the development of Lagos and Nigeria.
Olusi’s political career spans several decades. He began his public service journey as a councillor in the Lagos Town Council before serving in the House of Representatives and later as Lagos State Commissioner for Commerce.
He remains an influential figure in Lagos politics through his leadership of the Governor’s Advisory Council, which plays a significant role in the state’s APC political structure.
The First Lady also offered prayers for the celebrant, wishing him continued good health, strength, peace and happiness as he enters his tenth decade.
Olusi’s 90th birthday has attracted tributes from prominent political figures and associates, including President Bola Tinubu and Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, who have acknowledged his longstanding contributions to governance and political leadership.
The milestone is being marked with activities celebrating his years of public service, community development and influence on Lagos politics.
