A Nigerian entertainer has shared an emotional story about how a painful encounter with American rapper 50 Cent became a source of motivation.
According to the story, the first encounter happened in Las Vegas when he was still a child. After 50 Cent’s concert, he approached the rapper and asked to take a picture with him, proudly describing himself as a big fan.
However, the request was turned down, leaving him heartbroken.
Rather than allowing the rejection to discourage him, he said the experience inspired him to pursue stardom, determined to reach a level where he would no longer have to struggle for access.
Years later, he reportedly met 50 Cent again and reminded him of their first encounter. The rapper smiled and responded, “You here now.”
He was subsequently brought on stage at Madison Square Garden before an audience of about 20,000 people.
Plans were also reportedly underway for a major appearance at London Stadium, which has a capacity of approximately 80,000 people, although things did not go as expected.
