Social media critic VeryDarkMan has sparked fresh debate after questioning how Nigerian singers B-Red and Sina Rambo financed their newly acquired luxury vehicles.

In a video circulating online, VeryDarkMan drew attention to B-Red’s red Lamborghini Urus, which he estimated to be worth between ₦400 million and ₦600 million, and Sina Rambo’s 2026 Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon.

The brothers are sons of Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke and cousins of Afrobeats superstar Davido.

Reacting to their display of wealth, VeryDarkMan questioned their sources of income, asking when they last released music or performed at shows capable of generating such substantial earnings.

He also criticised what he described as the contrast between the expensive vehicles and the development challenges facing Osun State.

“Governor children. A poor state like Osun. Davido’s cousins. Corruption is only corruption when it does not benefit you. It is grace and strategy when it benefits you,” he said.

The activist further urged the governor to prioritise infrastructure and job creation, stressing that residents of the state deserved improved living conditions.

“My own be say make una no finish Osun State funds. Make una papa try build infrastructure, make una try create jobs for Osun. Osun people deserve better,” he added.

His comments have reignited discussions on social media about political connections, private wealth and accountability, with Nigerians expressing differing views on whether the brothers’ expensive purchases should attract public scrutiny.

While some may question how the vehicles were financed, others may argue that the Adeleke family’s established business interests and the brothers’ entertainment careers could provide sources of private income.

However, VeryDarkMan did not present evidence that Osun State funds were used to purchase the vehicles. The source of the money used to acquire the cars has not been independently established.

The controversy has nevertheless brought renewed attention to public expectations of elected officials, particularly regarding infrastructure, employment and the management of state resources.
