Saudi Arabian giants Al-Nassr delivered an emphatic performance, thrashing Uzbekistani side Pakhtakor 6-2 despite the absence of their captain, Cristiano Ronaldo, who was rested for the encounter.
The Portuguese superstar was left out of the starting line-up as Al-Nassr continued their impressive campaign, with his teammates stepping up to produce a dominant attacking display.
Al-Nassr’s attacking players took full advantage of the opportunity, finding the back of the net six times to overwhelm their opponents.
The result further demonstrated the Saudi club’s attacking strength and depth, showing that the team can deliver convincing performances even without their biggest star.
Ronaldo’s absence, however, did not prevent Al-Nassr from entertaining their supporters, as they controlled proceedings and secured a comfortable four-goal victory.
The emphatic win will provide a major confidence boost for Al-Nassr as they continue their pursuit of silverware this season.
