Nile University of Nigeria has released its approved tuition fees for the 2026/2027 academic session, revealing the amounts students enrolling in Medicine and Surgery, Law and Nursing Sciences are expected to pay.
According to the university’s official fee schedule, Medicine and Surgery is the most expensive of the three programmes, with students paying ₦3,575,000 per semester and ₦7,150,000 for the full academic session.
The Medicine and Surgery programme runs for six years, covering 12 semesters.
For Law, students will pay ₦2,275,000 per semester, bringing the tuition to ₦4,550,000 per academic session. The LL.B programme is structured to run for five years, covering 10 semesters.
Students studying Nursing Sciences will pay ₦1,750,000 per semester, while the total tuition for a full academic session is ₦3,500,000. The Nursing Sciences programme runs for five years, covering 10 semesters.
The figures mean students studying Medicine and Surgery will pay ₦3,600,000 more per academic session than those studying Nursing Sciences. Medicine also costs ₦2,600,000 more per session than Law.
Other programmes under the university’s College of Health Sciences also have varying fees. Human Anatomy and Human Physiology cost ₦1,875,000 per semester and ₦3,750,000 per session, while Public Health costs ₦2,000,000 per semester and ₦4,000,000 per session.
Medical Laboratory Science, like Nursing Sciences, costs ₦1,750,000 per semester and ₦3,500,000 per academic session.
Nile University stated that tuition fees do not include accommodation. The university also noted that its tuition fees are subject to change at the discretion of management.
The university is currently conducting undergraduate screening for the 2026/2027 academic session, with applications open to eligible candidates.
