The Federal Capital Territory Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has commenced registration for residents planning to perform the 2027 Hajj pilgrimage.
The board announced an initial deposit of ₦7.5 million for intending pilgrims, with registration taking place at its headquarters in Gudu District, Abuja.
Applicants are required to provide a bank draft payable to the FCT Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, a valid international passport, a photocopy of their National Identification Number slip, four recent passport photographs and the identification details of a guarantor.
The board said it would not accept cash payments or allow registration through proxies.
The registration is part of early preparations for the 2027 Hajj, with further arrangements and deadlines to be coordinated with the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria.
