Paris Saint-Germain made an impressive start to their Champions League campaign after recording a convincing 6–1 victory over Slovan Bratislava on Wednesday.
The French champions, who are aiming to claim the European title for a third consecutive time, dominated the encounter at the Parc des Princes and produced an attacking display that gave their supporters plenty to celebrate.
Ousmane Dembélé set the tone for PSG by finding the net twice, putting the hosts firmly in control of the match.
Ferran Torres then took centre stage, scoring three goals to complete a memorable hat-trick on his Champions League debut for PSG. His treble further underlined the strength of the Parisian side’s attack.
Fabian Ruiz added another goal late in the match to complete the six-goal haul, while Slovan Bratislava managed only one response.
The emphatic result gives PSG an ideal start to their Champions League title defence and provides an early boost as they continue their campaign in the league phase.
