The Kaduna State Police Command has reportedly arrested 24 people suspected of involvement in kidnapping and recovered a number of weapons during security operations across parts of the state.
The arrests are part of ongoing efforts by security agencies to disrupt criminal networks and improve the safety of communities affected by kidnapping and other forms of violent crime.
According to a report by Inda Ranka, the police also recovered weapons during the operations. The development is expected to support further investigations into the activities of the suspects and their alleged connections to kidnapping operations.
The arrests come amid continued security concerns in parts of Kaduna State, where communities have faced threats from armed criminal groups.
Police authorities are expected to continue investigating the suspects and determining their individual roles before any prosecution.
It is important to note that those arrested are suspects and are presumed innocent until proven guilty by a court of law.
Further details, including the identities of the suspects, the locations of the arrests and the specific weapons recovered, are expected as authorities provide more information.
