Residents of Sokoto State have challenged the African Democratic Congress (ADC) candidate, Daniya, to present a clear development blueprint outlining how he intends to address the state’s pressing challenges if elected.
The residents called for specific proposals that would demonstrate how the candidate plans to improve living conditions, strengthen the local economy and deliver meaningful development across the state.
They stressed the need for political aspirants to move beyond campaign promises and explain the practical steps they would take to tackle unemployment, poverty, inadequate infrastructure and other concerns affecting communities.
The demand also highlights growing expectations among voters for greater accountability from politicians seeking public office, particularly as preparations for future elections gather momentum.
According to the residents, presenting a detailed development plan would enable voters to assess the candidate’s priorities, evaluate the feasibility of his proposals and determine whether his vision aligns with their needs.
They maintained that political campaigns should focus on policies, measurable targets and realistic solutions rather than rhetoric alone.
The challenge places pressure on Daniya to clarify his priorities and demonstrate how an ADC-led administration would address the developmental needs of Sokoto State.
As political activities continue to build, voters are increasingly calling on aspirants to explain not only what they intend to achieve but also how they plan to deliver on their promises.
