TECNO has introduced the CAMON Slim to Nigerian consumers, combining a sleek design, eye-catching lighting effects and impressive smartphone features in a device designed for users who want both style and performance.
Measuring just 6.39mm thick, the CAMON Slim features a curved body that gives it a premium appearance. It comes in several colour options, including Jungle Green, Burgundy Red, Prism Black, Van Gogh Blue and New Mondrian, allowing users to choose a style that suits their personality.
One of its standout features is the interactive AI Mood Light on the back of the phone. Equipped with 354 miniature LEDs and 55 lighting scenes, the system can display different patterns for notifications, incoming calls, charging and other activities.
Photography enthusiasts also have reason to take notice. The smartphone features a 50-megapixel Sony LYTIA 600 rear camera designed to deliver detailed images, including in low-light conditions. A 32-megapixel front camera caters to selfies and video calls.
The device also introduces a Tap to Transfer feature that supports file sharing between the CAMON Slim and compatible iPhones, offering added convenience for users who frequently exchange photographs and videos across devices.
Beyond its appearance, the smartphone packs a 5,600mAh battery with 60W fast charging support. Its 6.78-inch AMOLED display offers 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate, designed to provide vibrant visuals and smoother scrolling.
TECNO has also equipped the device with IP68/IP69 dust and water resistance ratings, although protection may diminish over time and depends on the conditions of use.
Powered by MediaTek’s Helio G200 Ultimate processor, the CAMON Slim runs TECNO’s HiOS software and is available in storage configurations of up to 256GB, with additional virtual RAM depending on the variant.
The combination of its slim profile, distinctive lighting system, camera capabilities and large battery positions the device as an option for fashion-conscious consumers, content creators and smartphone users seeking a distinctive design without abandoning practical features.
With the CAMON Slim, TECNO is making a statement that smartphones can serve as both everyday technology and personal style accessories.
