The Ogun State Police Command has arrested three secondary school students, aged 12, 18 and 18, over a suspected cult initiation in Owode-Yewa, Ogun State.
The State Police Public Relations Officer, Oluseyi Babaseyi, disclosed the arrests on Friday, explaining that the operation followed intelligence received about a planned cult-related activity.
The incident has raised concerns about the involvement of young people in suspected cult activities and the need for stronger measures to protect students from criminal associations.
The police are expected to provide further details as investigations into the incident progress.
