As First Lady Oluremi Tinubu marks her 66th birthday, Senate President Godswill Akpabio has joined other dignitaries in celebrating her contributions to public service and humanitarian causes.

Akpabio, in a birthday message issued on Monday, September 21, described the First Lady as a “remarkable woman” whose life has reflected faith, service, sacrifice and quiet strength.

The Senate President highlighted her journey from the classroom to public office, the Senate and eventually the position of First Lady, saying her career demonstrated the importance of leadership and its impact on people’s lives.

He also praised her advocacy for women and children as well as her interventions through the Renewed Hope Initiative, which he said had focused attention on vulnerable Nigerians.

Akpabio further described Oluremi Tinubu as a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, noting the support and strength she has provided to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

“Your life reflects faith, service, sacrifice and quiet strength,” Akpabio said, while commending what he described as her compassion for vulnerable Nigerians.

On behalf of the Senate, the National Assembly and his family, Akpabio wished the First Lady continued happiness, good health and many more years of purposeful service.

He concluded his message by praying for God’s continued protection and strength for the First Lady as she celebrates her 66th birthday.
