Nigerian music star Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has sparked reactions after declaring that he no longer impregnates women.
The singer made the remark during a live performance at Rehab Lounge in Calgary, Canada, on Saturday, while entertaining fans with his hit song, True Love.
During the performance, 2Baba paused to interact with the audience as he playfully searched for his “true love”, asking whether she was standing at the back or somewhere in front of him.
The award-winning musician used the moment to make a humorous comment about his experiences with women, telling the audience that he had stopped getting women pregnant.
He said he had been making the declaration wherever he went, adding that people who knew him could confirm his position.
His statement has drawn attention, particularly given his widely publicised relationship history and previous marriage to Nollywood actress Annie Macaulay-Idibia.
The former couple, who separated in January 2025, share two children.
