Abbey Mortgage Bank Plc will hold a board meeting on October 22, 2026, to review its unaudited financial results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2026.
The bank disclosed this in a notice dated October 14 and signed by its Executive Director for Finance, Risk and Operations, John Okonkwo.
Ahead of the release of the results, the financial institution said it had entered a closed period for trading in its shares from October 1, in line with the Nigerian Exchange Limited’s regulations.
The restriction will remain in force until 24 hours after the unaudited financial statements are published through the NGX Issuers’ Portal.
During the closed period, directors, employees and other individuals classified as insiders are prohibited from trading in the bank’s shares, either directly or indirectly.
The measure is designed to prevent insiders from taking advantage of sensitive financial information that has not yet been made available to the public.
The bank’s board is chaired by High Chief Samuel Oni, while Mobolaji Adewumi serves as its Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer.
Investors will be watching the forthcoming results for indications of the bank’s earnings performance, asset quality and overall financial position during the quarter.
The review is expected to precede the public release of the bank’s third-quarter financial statements.
