Senior Pastor of Fountain of Life Church, Lagos, Jimmy Odukoya, has officially introduced his new wife, Pastor Mo Odukoya, to members of the congregation, marking a fresh chapter in his personal life.
The cleric unveiled his wife during the church’s Sunday service on November 1, 2026, at the church headquarters in Ilupeju, Lagos State, where she was warmly received by worshippers.
The announcement followed an earlier social media post by the pastor featuring a photograph of two hands adorned with wedding rings, accompanied by the caption, “To New Beginnings.” The post had sparked speculation among followers about his marital status.
Addressing the congregation, Odukoya explained that he had spent a considerable period navigating life alone since assuming leadership of the church. He said he eventually found a suitable partner, drawing inspiration from the biblical teaching that it is not good for a man to be alone.
He subsequently presented his wife as Pastor Mrs Mo Odukoya, describing her as the church’s new first lady.
The congregation responded with cheers as the couple appeared together before the worshippers. Mo also expressed her joy at the opportunity to stand alongside her husband and join the church community.
Pastor Tunde Bakare, General Overseer of The Citadel Global Community Church, was present to pray for and bless the couple’s union. He reportedly disclosed that the marriage ceremony took place in the United States.
Odukoya was previously married to Oluwakemi Sade Banjoko in March 2013, and their union produced two children before the marriage ended in separation.
His new marriage has since attracted attention on social media, with many Nigerians congratulating the couple while others engaged in discussions about remarriage and relationships within Christian leadership.
The introduction marks a new beginning for the pastor, who continues to lead Fountain of Life Church while embracing a new chapter in his family life.
