The Allied Peoples Movement (APM) candidate for the Ojo Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives has appealed to residents and voters in Lagos State to support his ambition ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The candidate said his aspiration was driven by a desire to contribute to the development of the constituency and provide effective representation for the people.
He urged residents of Ojo Federal Constituency to carefully consider the choices before them as political activities gather momentum ahead of the elections.
The appeal comes as the APM intensifies preparations for the 2027 polls and seeks to strengthen its presence across Lagos State.
The party has been promoting its broader “Reset Lagos” agenda, which includes calls for improved infrastructure, better education, accessible healthcare, employment opportunities, enhanced security and greater support for businesses and entrepreneurs.
The APM has also urged Lagos residents to participate actively in the electoral process, arguing that voters should assess candidates based on their programmes, ideas and commitment to public service rather than personality-driven politics.
The party’s Lagos chapter recently called on residents to join its “I Am a Resetter” movement, presenting its “Atunto Eko 1.0” programme as a proposed new direction for governance in the state.
The Ojo candidate’s appeal is coming as political parties and aspirants begin to intensify grassroots mobilisation ahead of the 2027 elections.
With the campaign season expected to generate increased political engagement across Lagos, candidates are seeking to connect with voters and communicate their plans for their respective constituencies.
The APM has said its candidates will continue engaging communities across Lagos, with emphasis on issues, accountability and practical solutions to challenges facing residents.
The party is also fielding candidates for the Senate, House of Representatives and Lagos State House of Assembly as it seeks to expand its political influence in the state.
